Terms of Service
Plain terms for a free tool. You own what you make, you are responsible for the images you put into it, and the service comes with no guarantees.
Last updated 27 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Screenlyst(“we”, “us”), and they cover your use of Screenlyst at https://screenlyst.pixelwallbd.com and its editor.
By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. What the service does
Screenlyst is a browser-based tool for styling screenshots — adding frames, backgrounds, shadows and annotations, and exporting the result as an image file.
The editing happens on your own device. We do not receive, store or process the images you edit. This is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
3. Your images stay yours
You keep all rights to the images you bring to the service and to everything you create with it. We claim no ownership, no licence and no right to use your work. We could not do so even if we wanted to, because your images never reach us.
You may use what you export for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without attribution or permission from us.
4. What you are responsible for
You are responsible for the images you put into the editor and for what you do with the results. In particular, you agree that you will not use the service to:
- process images you have no right to use, including material that infringes someone else's copyright or trade marks;
- create material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that sexualises minors;
- fabricate screenshots in order to deceive — for example, forging messages, transactions, receipts or news in a way designed to be taken as genuine;
- impersonate a real person, company or product in a way likely to mislead;
- attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or access the administration area.
The redaction tool is provided to help you hide sensitive details before sharing. You remain responsible for checking your exported image before you publish it. Always confirm that anything confidential is genuinely covered.
5. Availability and changes
The service is free and offered as is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we may add paid features in future. We do not promise that the service will be available without interruption or free of defects.
Because your work is stored only in your own browser, it can be lost by clearing your browser data, by a browser update, or by using a different device. Keep your own copies of anything you need.
6. Waitlist and future paid features
Joining the waitlist places no obligation on either of us. It is not a purchase, it does not reserve a price, and it does not guarantee that a paid product will be released. If we introduce paid features, they will have their own terms, which you would review before paying.
Exports produced on the free tier may carry a small mark identifying Screenlyst. You may change its wording, position and strength in the editor.
7. Our intellectual property
The Screenlyst name, the site, its design, its presets and its underlying code belong to us. These terms do not give you permission to copy or redistribute them. This does not restrict your rights to the images you create, which are covered in section 3.
8. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time; there is no account to close. We may restrict access to anyone who uses the service in breach of section 4.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
